I find it interesting to see who is followed most. Kevin seems to mostly post inspirational pictures, what he's eating and about how much he has made. Others with thousands of followers don't post much more that pretty pictures. Are people following because they like this stuff or is it just to be part of a crowd that may lead to more money? I can understand people following celebrities (I don't), but some of the Tsu stars are not famous elsewhere.

I think there is still a lot of the 'dash for cash', but people are free to do that if they want. I'm using Tsu to socialise with interesting people and making a few pennies on the side. The network I have gained from this forum is providing at least half of those pennies. I'm making donations to the charities when I get some built up.

So I won't be following Kevin, but good luck to him.

He has a lot of followers and i think a part of them are posting in his posts to get more followers.

I must say that i liked his earlier posts more. No he is frequently posting about all the checks he receiving, gets a bit annoying that he is bragging about it.

agree. its a spam site :) but in a way every high traffic profile is.

But people choose to follow him. That may be partly so that their comments get seen by lots of people. Some people are just about the numbers. I'm doing a bit of that with my experimental account.

It seems that people who come from his posts and become your followers after a few days quit to be. Of course, not all but at least 40%. It has been my experience, after I fill its 1000 and can not return the follow.

There are some allegations that KH is breaching the Tsu terms by taking money to promote people.

See posts by https://www.tsu.co/JasonOldfield

Any thoughts on this?

I'm curious if tsu will make some official statement on this...

Do you personally think he's breaking the rules? TBH, I don't care much, everyone has its own way and I don't like any fights.

I'm not bothered what he does, but he is a high profile user on Tsu (if not outside it) and people will emulate what he does. He knows the Tsu staff, so I expect they would talk to him if they had a problem with what he does.

If he is letting people pay him to promote them, I doubt he's the only one.  But he probably is the most famous (notorious) one

You can donate to who ever you like, charity, to help someone out or for you own gain. I think I've seen this being mentionned before (giving away cents just to help people out, which was a scam according to Antony Long, because you can't donate less than 1 dollar.)

I don't see how this is different than shoutouts. The promotion in question is useless if the person who pays isn't interesting, so they still have to make an effort.

Same with advertising you have new kids, if those kids don't do anything....

Also, it's not because you ask people to give someone extra attention, that they will.

So if he is getting paid, I think he's just using the system. But I get why people would start to resent him for it

I know some of them are playing with Steemit, 8app and Niume. I connected with some of them on Google+ and Twitter, so I still see their updates. Steemit is the only other site I've joined since Tsu collapsed and I'm happy there. For me it's as much about the community as the money and I've found lots of cool people.

I never did too well with WowApp. I have a few contacts and a small network, but only make pennies each month.

I'm not active anywhere, except by WowApp and this forum :) I went "back to work" after they shut the tsu down. I have invested something to Steem btw.

I don't earn much (yet) but they did some good changes in the new version because my network is growing about 4-5 times quicker than before:

and this is the number of transactions just in the last few minutes:

And I see the total number of transactions is growing every day. I remember the opposite scenario with tsu - huge hype at start and a slow dying then. Anyway, let's see how WowApp will look like 1 year from now. I like their charity work and vision.

I've made a little more from Wow lately, but still less than a cent per day on average. I gained a few more in my network, but only 39 total so far. It's not worth me spending a lot of time pushing it unless I can find a massive untapped market.

Dexter who was on Tsu is posting on Steemit about 8app and saying it will be big. I've not even tried it yet and just lack the time.

Steemit is still coming along nicely. There's a new way to use it via https://busy.org/, The posts (just the text) are all in the blockchain and this can be used by different sites and apps. Busy looks more like Facebook with built in image uploads which is something the Steemit site still lacks. I mostly put my images in Dropbox and use some other services too. I know that's too technical for many people.

2017 is going to be interesting.

If you were a member of TSU and you would like to know the truth about what really happen with TSU then please join us if you are already a member then simply add jeni-meeee as a contact. That platform is secure while this one is not as with most things on the Internet. If you were a member you probably are not even aware of what you lost so far and what you would have made in the future. We are and we do not plan to allow TSU to go softly into that good night. We the users owned 90% of TSU and the company chose to fight their battle on their own which was their only mistake. We will not let it die in vain and if we can we will even bring it back, God willing.

If you are a company that uses a similar model to TSU fighting the same battles that TSU fought for all of us then we would like to help you.

If you want to be apart of the Class Action lawsuit that we are working on putting together against the guilty parties so that the battle fought was not fought in vain and so that other like TSU have a fair and equal chance in the future then please join us.

All TSU wanted was a fair playing field they were not looking for anything else. They did not get that and neither do any of us right now but together we can change that.

I think this may be your last chance to get your posts and photos. You should still be able to log in to do this. I don't know what use anyone can make of the files provided, but I think this was the least they could do after cutting us off so suddenly.

I wonder if this will be left available for a little longer or if they will just shut down the domain.
